You can add a new Widget by performing the following procedure:
- Click
button from the Widget Designer
The Widget Designer – Add page is displayed.
- Populate the form as tabulated:
Field | Description |
Fields marked with (*) are mandatory. | |
Widget Name | Enter a name for the Widget. |
Description | Enter a description about the Widget. |
Header | Enter a header text for the Widget. |
Active | Select the check box adjacent to this field, if you want to keep this Widget as active. |
Source Type | Click the drop down list adjacent to this field and select the source type. Available options are the following:
· Query · Report |
Source | Click the drop down list adjacent to this field and select the source.
Click the icon adjacent to this field to expand/collapse the chart coordinates selection. |
Click the drop down lists adjacent to X-Axis and Y-Axis fields to select the values. You can click ![]() Click |

Chart Type | Click the drop down list adjacent to this field and select the type of the chart. |
Show Legend | Select the check box adjacent to this field if you want to show legend in the graph. |
Legend Position | Click the drop down list adjacent to this field and select the legend position. Available values are the following:
· Right · Left · Top · Bottom |
Ignore Owner Security | Select the check box adjacent to this field if you want to ignore owner security. |
Label Display | Click the drop down list adjacent to this field and select the position of the label in the Widget. |
Owner | This field is auto populated with the name of the user who has created this record. |
- Click
button to save the Widget details.
You can also click button to save the Widget and add another one.
