The Add New Business Unit option enables you to create new Business Unit records in the database. Perform the following procedure to create a new Business Unit record:
- Click
The Business Unit – Add page is displayed.
- Populate the form details as tabulated:
Field | Description |
Fields marked with (*) are mandatory. | |
Business Unit | Enter the name of the business unit in the Business Unit field. |
Business Unit Description | Enter a description for the business unit in the Business Unit Description field. |
Parent Business Unit | Click the drop down adjacent to this field and select the parent business unit. |
Owner ID | This field is auto populated with the name of the user who has created this record. |
The Business Unit Hierarchy section displays the current business hierarchy.
- Click
button to save the Business Unit information.
You can also click button to save the Business Unit information and add another Business Unit.
